I love watching artists from around the world perform authentic music selections. This is a favorite I saved for my student. Africa "Funwa Alafia":
PIN #3 MAKE AND TAKE
Bean bags are a must in the music room. You can make your own-they're not too difficult-but you need a sewing machine! I've seen some cute ones made from quilting squares, jean fabric, cordoroy, fake fur--there's endless possibilities."I love to do yoga-and although I'm not an expert-I use it a lot in my classroom. It's great to have a couple of moves you can do with the kids as transitions, or as activities. I also use it to calm students down at the end of class.
I've been on a veggie kick and really into carrot juice smoothies. I love to make them first thing after I get up and then sip on them all morning. There's all kinds of things that go well with carrot juice like, pineapple, ginger, spinach, celery, apples, strawberries and blue berries (not all at the same time!Hope you're enjoying your summer off and taking time to learn and re-boot!
